So after searching all around Good and trying to find an answer thats newer then 2008 I am asking here. I have a Gateway P6831Fx and have a Intel Q9100. I was wondering If there is anyway to make the two work nicely together. I do know that the system is has a 800mhz FSB and the CPU is 1066 but figured I would give it a shot and see. I see the lights come on when its in but the screen stays blank, Also the fans kick in faster and the system restarts its self after a few seconds then sounds like its trying to boot but with no screen and no beep codes. I have a T9300 in the system now. Please help if you can.
