OK, i know what drivers to install for my nVidia 8800GTS, but i'm confused on the whole vista clean install thing...i pop the CD in, click clean install, then make a recovery CD or save windows.old and i'm done? or..

Open the box, turn it on and have fun. When you 'think' you need to do a clean install, you have a choice to do so then.

You can do whatever you want...

Trying to get drivers from windows.old...

Trying to get drivers from gateway...

    or

Knowing that you can get drivers from a driver DVD you made...
