I haven't been able to find any other posts on this specific issue so I decided to start a new one. I entered my BIOS (vis F2) and changed the HDD to IDE and one other thing for which I cant remember. Now when I power on the p-7811 it prints some text out and goes straight to the Windows boot. I can not re-enter the BOOT setup even when I pound or hold the F2 key from power on.

Does anyone know another way or how I might enter the BIOS setup when the F2 option appears to be gone?

Press F8 or F10 or whatever the Boot Menu shortcut is. Then when the boot menu appears go to the bottom and choose Enter Setup. This is a known problem that most P78** users experience.

Thanks for the reply AGlobal; however, the issue is the Boot Menu never comes up at all. I can hit F2 (and have tried F8 & F10) from power on continually and the only boot I get is the windows boot menu. The system BIOS boot menu no longer comes up at all. I tried your suggestion in the windows boot menu but as expected it does not work. I am not exactly sure what I changed to get the PC into this mode where it seems to power on past the BIOS menu and straight into windows vista.

Seems I found a back door into the BIOS. Even though I was pounding the same keys during every boot cycle the power up sequence seemed to vary slightly from cycle to cycle. I got one menu to come up (not the typical system bios page) that had an enter bios setup selection which got me where I needed to go. Thanks again
