    Gateway P7811FX Screen Flickers help

    Hey guys,

    My screen just started flickering on my 6 month old P7811FX. At first it wasn't bad, now it flickers horribly. I bought it brand new from Best Buy for $1250 (a good deal at the time), and now I am dissapointed as I had not had any of the problems that other members are reporting :(.

    Is the 7805 essentially a problem free 7811? Has anyone had their 7811 replaced with a 7805 through Gateway?

    can u explain the flickering, just like screen flickering or colors ?

    No my screen doesn't look like that, it flickers like a fluorescent light that is going out.

    i dont know what could have caused this symptom, maybe the inverter.
    if thats the case, you have to contact gateway to send the computer in for repairs.
