Hi, I have an issue with my laptop. It functions well enough in most cases, however sometimes when playing a video or game (more so a game) it blacks out. It even happened when I hooked up my tv via HDMI.

What do you guys think is the issue? Heat? Faulty hardware? Is there anyway that you think I can fix it?

    Regards

Could be the GPU separating from the motherboard. Not sure if that's only an issue for the 8800M or if the 9800M suffers from that too.

Just checked it out, so I'll have to open it up. Thanks, hopefully it works.
