    I need help with the Gateway Recovery CD. Can someone tell me or point me in the direction of where I can find out if a Gateway 6020GZ recovery CD is the same as a Gateway MX6436? I have the 6020 CD, but not the 6436 and it is the one I need. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    i doubt it very much, the recovery CD is mostly model specific. Contact gateway for a replacement, this would be the best choice around
