    Gateway Sold To HP

    In an unexpected move, Gateway was just sold to HP for $346 million. HP said they were looking to buy the company for a few years and have finally made their move. HP reps told us we should see some major changes to the company by the end of 2008. HP and Gateway both agreed this was the best choice for both companies. HP will begin offering a new line of Gateway notebooks during in the third and fourth quarters of the year.

    And in another bold move, apple announced it was putting vista basic on all new macbook pros! Happy april fool's day everyone!
