The jack came loose, what I'd like to know is, when I put the jack back in place on the Mobo, were do I have to solder the 3 metal pins on the jack, from the top or underneath of the mobo?

I believe it is the top. I had this computer for a long time, about 4 years, took it all apart and put it back together again a few times. RIP my solo 9550 with the dead motherboard...
