    Anybody know if the Gateway Solo Pro 9300 BIOS allows booting from USB devices?

    If you own this notebook, enter the BIOS menu to see if removable devices are an option in the boot menu order.

    I don't have it yet - I won a stripped one for very cheap ($26) on ebay, but it has no HD & no CDR. I had simply assumed that I could use my external USB HD as the main HD, but then I read that booting from a USB isn't a given. So I was hoping to find out ahead of time...
