Hello all...I have the FX-P7801u laptop and the primary HDD died after the laptop got jostled pretty hard. I was able to recover the files from the hidden partition and put them on on another HDD. Is there a way to generate backup CDs or do a recovery from those files?

I left the recovery partition in mine and havent touched it. I reformatted to Ubuntu but if I wanted to I know I can use UBCD to get the computer back to stock.

Try making the files a partition again on your new drive or make them an iso form and run ubcd.
