    Gateway T 1625 Abrupt Shutdown ?!!

    i have had my Gateway T1625 for like couple years now and it seems like will never quit shutiing down on it's own ,I was going with overheating but sometimes it just gives the black screen when i grab it and push on button.moreover,the DVD DL went bad few months ago

    back again what u guys think the problem locates? any inputs will be appreciated!

    does it just turn itself off just like that? Or initiates a shutdown sequence? Check your windows error logs to see exactly what happened. Post the error here. Other than that try reflashing to the latest bios and test if it does it alone on battery only. Can be the ac adapter causes a short at a certain level.. lets eliminate that problem immediately by testing it out.
