I have a 2008-era Gateway 14" T-6330u laptop w/ Vista. The "left-click" function of the touchpad has stopped working. The left touchpad button is inoperative and tapping & double tapping on the touch pad does nothing, although the mouse pointer moves around via the touchpad. A USB mouse works fine. I tried a system restore and reinstalling the drivers, but that does not work. I have a Squaretrade warranty until May, but I want to see if I can fix it myself, before I mail in my laptop for repair. Does anyone have any suggestions?
