Hi Guys...just downgraded the OS on my Gateway T-6815 notebook from Vista to XP and now lcd screen is to dimm to see and contrast/brightness controls do not function.Does anyone know of any drivers that will correct this problem? Really don't want to go back to the Vista OS. Also, when machine boots up .... screen is not dimm and looks fine....it only dimms after XP is loaded. I have noticed on a few other sites threads that I am not the only one having this same problem with the dimmed out screen. I figure one of you technical gods out there can help...this is way above my knowledge level!!! HELP!!!!!

    hey cgralls...

I also posted a question regarding the dimming. I have a T-6816 model and it is at the lowest setting (after I installed the video card drivers). I can't adjust the brightness with the FN keys... any luck with you?
