I have 2 Gateway W350A Laptop commuters. They were bought brand new about a year and a half apart. The older one works fine. The newer one will lose wireless connection about 30-60 minutes after bootup. I have had the 2 side by side comparing setting and I don't see where they differ. They are both have Vista Home Premium as their OS. I am using a Linksys WRT54G router.
Any ideas on what I should check, test, update, change, ect?

Try uninstalling and deleting the driver in the non-working one then run driver sweeper to completely remove all traces of it. After that download and reinstall the wireless driver and see if that will help.
Sounds like either it or another driver is interfering with it during boot. -
In Device Manager, the following is listed under Network Adapters:
MAC Bridge Miniport
Realtek RTL8101E Family PCI-E FE NIC
Realtek RTL8187S Wireless LAN PCIE Network Adapter #2
Driver name for the wireless adapter is RTL8187Se.sys
Version 6.1053
Windows could not locate an updated version, but I may have here.

RTL8187SE
Ver 6.9067
Does this all look correct before I uninstall the old version and attempt to install the newer version which I have downloaded already?
