Ok, so I bought my Gateway ZX2300 all-in-one pc here in the Philippines. And based on what I have seen in the gateway sites, This particular cheap gateway offering is only available to certain asian countries.

Moving on, I wonder if anyone had upgraded its memory. It has 1 gb ddr 2 (800mhz) and runs an amd 2650 e athlon 64. I basically use this for home and school. I already contacted before gateway customer service and told me that yes, it can be upgraded but I need technical assistance. Since to be able to access the mini motherboard I need to remove the lcd panel which is risky.

Can anyone suggest something? I really want to upgrade this to 2 to 4 gb.

Generally RAM is RAM. I would take it out and look at it and make sure it is the standard desktop form if I were you. Also to have the OS recognize all 4GB it will need to be 64-bit.
