    Gateway ec14d 11.6" CULV with built-in optical drive.

    Surprised there isn't a thread on this lappy when its about the only 11.6" with a built-in optical drive.
    Almost identical as the 1410/1810 in specs and size.

    What I find amazing about this notebook is that Acer is able to make the 6-cell battery sit flushed even with the optical drive.
    I can't think of another 11.6" with a 6-cell that sits totally flush and Acer is able to do this with an optical drive is amazing.
    Price is expected to be $629 with a SU4100 proccessor.
    Personally I think its almost perfect except I don't like the keyboard and I hate the glossy lid(as everyone else.
    I have the 1410 already or else it would be on my short list but I think I sawyed toward the Alienware M11x.
