It's true. I went to Gateway.com to look at support options for fixing my ****ty gfx card and I stumbled upon new drivers. I just entered my serial number, and it took me to a downloads section, where I had to select my os. After that, it turned up 4 new drivers, two dated 10/12/05 and two being dated 11/2/05. One includes the CPU Power Saver driver. I don't know about you, but I thought gateway didn't have any drivers for the 7500gx. Anyway, I thought I would pass it along.

Ok I went and got all 4 of these. According to each readme in the files they are all the initial release. When I went to install the AMD drivers, it just uninstalled my current ones. So had to reinstall those. As for ATI SMBUS drivers, I had newer ones I got from ATI. The Sound drivers listed update for when I installed those. And The Lan drivers seemed to just overwrite the others. So Maybe some of them were new.

Oh. Good call on recognizing that...well at least they finally have drivers now. lol

It would be nicer however, if Gateway had all of the required drivers posted. Stay tuned. One day they just may be.
