I've had my m680 for almost 4 years now. It's really been a great machine for me until the hard drive died a a couple weeks ago. I got a new drive in here now and a everything is fine. I am thinking of upgrading the memory now and am wondering if it would be worth it. I had it configured for 1 gig of memory in two 512 meg slots. I was checking out its memory on newegg and it would be less than 30 bucks for me to max it out at 2 gigs. Should I do this? Will I even notice a difference at this point? Or should I just stick with it until it dies? Thanks.

    Hi Jonesboy,

You can expand the RAM up to 2GB. Get 2x 1GB 400/533 MHz DDR2 sticks.
    Yes...it will improve performance overall.

    Cheers!
