    I want to uprade the memory. I have an opportunity to purchase 2 512's 4200 6 month old from a friend who is upgrading his...
    My quesion is will I be able to benefit from the 4200, as mine is currently running 2700?

    and ddr400 not ddr2, dont think the mb can support ddr2?

    also looks like cpu upgrade is possible, up to a 2.2 turion.

    and 7200rpm hd will work fine, its actually better for the laptop. 7200rpm hd is quicker, therefore making the laptop work faster.

    just need more info on memory, so i can make a choice as to how high I can go.

    well i installed a 100gb hd (7200rpm) and a 1 gig stick of ram and it runs faster as ppl have sayed it would...i think windows media center may still be slowing it down some though, but not sure.

    all in all, i am happy with it :)
