I've had a P6860 and now a 7805u. Both have been flawless. I owned a Dell XPS Gen 2.0 Desktop back before this and I ran into about 3-5 problems with that computer that just pissed me off.

I'll buy Gateway again as long as they continue to put together winning combinations that excite me.

I ended up getting this gateway when my HP dv9000 committed suicide after only 11 months of life.

Had to use a gateway in the in-between time and I was impressed with the amount of features and quality for the price.

My only experience with Gateway so far was getting a new power brick. The online chat worked well in that they agreed right away to ship a new brick. It being back ordered 6 weeks sucked though.

My 6860 has been very good to me. She's my baby. The only inherent flaw i see is the general build quality, though that is easily countered by simply being gentle with it.
