    Gateway: Turn off Laptop Screen Stretching

    I haven't found where to turn off screen stretching. I've looked in Display (Advanced Settings) and the BIOS.
    I don't need to change resolution, I need to disable the disproportionate horizontal stretch.

    I just figured this out.

    Go to Control Panel --> Display --> Settings tab -->
    if Display shows '1. Plug and Play Monitor..., then click on Advanced button,
    then under the 'Intel(R) Extreme Graphics 2 for Mobile' tab, click the 'Graphic Properties' button,
    under the 'Devices' tab, uncheck the box for "Full screen (no border)"

    That should fix the screen stretch. You can test it in this widget by changing the 'Screen Area' setting and clicking 'Apply'.
