Any one remove this sticker from the laptop ?
-
Haha, no. I'm the type to keep all the stickers on.
-
I removed mine.
-
I took mine and stuck it on the back of the manual.
Sure looks nice there.
 -
I was thinking should I ask lol,,, I keep mine till it gets ugly
-
mine started to peel so I just took it off. I have a small steel series sticker in it's place (I got it with my mouse pad)
-
Removed but not discarded.
-
i took mine off, and think it looks better without it.
-
Ok I took it off
-
i took mine off and put it on the box. anyone have any luck taking the other too little stickers off?
-
no way. it's the centerpiece of the laptop. looks boring without it.
-
Take it off. I had an Toshiba laptop with a similar size sticker. I let it be for many years. Then it started to peal, I removed it and there was a major color difference of the chassis. The area w/o sticker was much lighter than with sticker. It looked so ghetto after that.
-
I threw mine away.
-
Peeled all of mine and slapped them on the back of a cd label sheet so if I ever want them for something i've got em.
-
-
took it right off and stuck it somewhere on my desk (just cant seem to remember where XD)
-
yup nice
-
Is it hard to peel off? I want to take mine off because its crooked but I hate all that residue it leaves if you know what I mean.
-
It doesn't leave any residue, just go slow and it comes off clean and easy.
-
Mine came off easily with no residue.
-
Use a little wd40 test 1st
-
-
sticker dont
-
very nice
-
You removed the sticker! Oh god, what have you done?! Your warranty is gone man sorry. That sticker was the only thing cooling your FBS, and without it, um, I don't know where I'm going with this. You warranty is fine
.
I removed mine too. I don't have gears for the PC, and I only thought it was alright on the 360. The sticker looked a little cheesy too. -
very nice
-
however, the warranty on the sticker will no longer be valid.
-
OMG! OMG! I just took it off. What do I do with it now?!?!
/me puts sticker on cats head
All better now. -
I took mine off day one, didn't save it. But I left the other small stickers on (the video card, cpu and os stickers)
-
-
this thread reminded me that i had a sticker from when i upgraded my processor, so i took off the only one to replace it and there was so much glue residue. finally got it cleared off after wiping it with some alcohol a few times and got the new one on in the exact same spot, cause it left a small outline i could see in the light.
-
person at gateway told me not to take it off. btw that is not why I called.
-
That person told you not to take off the "Gears of War" sticker?
Did you happen to record the conversation?
Was there laughter in the background?
-
I didn't have one on mine
...happy I didn't
-
-
Gateway: No, it will void your warranty and your computer will explode.
You: Okay then. -
Boy was that sticker fun
-
I haven't even taken off the plastic piece that "protects" the stickers and palm-rest. Nor have I bothered to take off the plastic protector that is on the lid.
The palm rest on my old laptop developed two black marks on the palm rest where I would rest my palms. It looked very ugly. I do not want that to happen to this laptop. Not in a million years. -
Leave my sticker alone!!!
-
gears of war was a $hitty port and as such was never worthy of this magnificent machine. off with it.
-
I replaced mine with a sTp sticker
-
I took off all the stickers on the front.... put the GoW sticker in the manual.... and put the vista/intel sticker on a spot on the back of my FX... right by the serial sticker
-
very nice
-
I took of my GOW sticker but left my Vista and Centrino Stickers.
When I get my X7800 I am going to get an Intel Core 2 Duo Extreme Edition Inside sticker
Gears of war sticker
