Ok so I got my 7811 today and it arrived with no scratches or dead pixels. It did arrive tho with the cover over the hard drives not screwed on correctly. Also when I try and boot it I get a no bootmgr error so I'm assuming there is not an operating system installed. Is that normal? I am wanting to Install xp so it may notbe a bad thing but I do find it odd

Mine also arrived with the HDD panel poorly fitted. What the hell, eh? The HDD was seated correctly (in fact, I've been unable to remove the HDD) but the OS was hosed, so I ended up wiping it and loading Vista myself. Which is fine by me. I'd rather build the OS myself than use a manufacturer image.

I opened 5 of these and all of them had the hdd door screwed wrong. It looks like they don't know what they are doing.

Turns out vista was installed on here...but my hdd is partitioned into 2 drives...kinda strange...anyways I repaired the OS with the vista cd and I'm updating stuff now. Where do I check to see what bios I have?
