    Is it possible to change out the the standard graphic card in a emachines M6811 to something better to support all the features in Windows Vista. Currently I have a ATI Mobility Radeon 9600

    radeon 9600 is using AGP slot i guess
    and you can upgrade to the Nvidia 7800 AGP one
    (sry didn;t look much)

    You cannot upgrade the GPU...please read the GPU Guide for info.

    I really have a difficult time believing that the 9600 will give you trouble though...especially if it is listed to support Aero.

    If you mean purchase a entirely new and different notebook, then yes.
