(we've lost the search option for the forums again - I'm sure this has been mentioned before...)

I've been a p6831FX user since Feb 15 when we got our tax refund and I ran to BB to get this marvelous machine. Things have been great ever since!

A few weeks ago I noticed for the first time a graphical glitch when I rebooted the machine. The 'G' on the boot Gateway logo was fine the rest was messed up with scan-lines-like display, flickering, just generally messed up (difficult to describe).

I'm figuring something has loosed up, maybe a ribbon cable to the LCD or something but regrettably those type of fixes are beyond me. Actually for as much money as I paid I'd be to worried to mess with it.

More of an FYI post than anything. I messaged Gateway tech support a few hours ago - still waiting to hear from them.

    EDIT
Oh, and the reason for this post and my contact to tech support was it happened again about 2.5 hours ago from a straight power up. Oh boy, getting me a tad worried that I may have to send my baby away for some work. I've been with her every single day since I got it and I'm not sure I can do well without her by my side for however long it would take to fix.
