Recently my notebook's HDD has started to make some clicking sounds (a WD Scorpio Blue) . I'm afraid it won't last much and I could lose some important data.

I have decided to upgrade the HDD to a Fujitsu drive drive with similar specs ( a 7200 RPM drive).

How can I move my data from this disk to the other one?

    - Does the Gateway Backup can be used to transfer the information to a different drive?
    - Should I use something like Acronis True Image or Paragon Backup? Any 'how-to's?

I have used Acronis but only on regular PC drives, but not on notebook drives.

    Thanks for your attention.
