Hello, I am trying to use the HDMI out feature on a friends 6860 FX but the HDTV we have it set-up to seems to be cropping the image. I read that this is something the TV does on it's own, however there is no option on the Audiovox I have to change much. So I was wondering if there was any other option to fix this. Thanks

Most TV tend to do what's called "overscan"... this is a "leftover" of they way they used to make TVs... basically, they found people hated having black bars or "unused" space on their screens so they came up with "overscan" to avoid angry customers. They still do this even though it's really not needed anymore. I hate it myself.

You can try changing the resolution of the desktop to see if that fits better... also some TVs also have something called "just scan" you can enable. You could also just try using the VGA output from the laptop as well... some TVs have more or less options depending on if it's HDMI/DVI or VGA.

had to change the HDTV as a second screen instead of clone, then was given an option in nVidia control panel to change the desktop size on HDTV and brought up a bar which you could scale it properly. Then I changed my setup to be clone with HDTV first listed, and then it worked! Running 720p I believe
