Hey guys, so I just got done installing the X9100, SSD, RAM, and replacing all the TIM on the GPU.

Do these temps look high, or in normal range? I'm always paranoid, so I rather get some opinions.

I currently have a bunch of programs installing and open, while installing Tera, if that makes a difference.

I'm also outside in a truck, with the laptop mounted on a center console laptop mount.

    Thanks!

So I replaced my NB and CPU with ICD7, and randomly I'll get a 98C heat spike to my mainboard.

Think this has something to do with the NB ICD7 being un-even or something?

No, the TSZx will spike with the x9100. This is normal and it is an internal bug on the board. While it was quited down from the 7811 it still exists. The NB is getting no where near those temps.

Using Throttle Stop the system will ignore the TSZx and run full speed. Otherwise the system may slow down to reduce the false reading. I have found usually ony one of the TSZx's will spike so go by the temp of the other............

Make sure you have enough on the NB. NB HS gap is pretty close to 1mm. I have a 1mm copper shim epoxied to HS and use ICD but saw no difference from using ICD alone.

    Crank'er up!

    FX7805u X9100 CO @3.458 stable

I put a lot on it, more then I usually do.

I also don't notice any difference, maybe slightly 1*C, but as long as it's all stable is all I care about.

Temps are fine, not near dangerous levels. Throttle point for the GPU is around 103, or 105. Tjunction Max on the CPU is probably mid 90's. I wouldn't use AS5 on the GPU, ICD if you have it is what I used, after an hour of BF3 max temp for me was 69*, but 75* is still relatively cool, very safe, nothing to worry about. Yours will be a little higher because of the X9100, but everything looks good to me.

It's to late, I got the ICD7 after I finished the AS5. So I'm not stripping it again.

Your vents are possibly clogged up as well, but no, I'm not using a cooler, my laptop is mounted in my console in my truck, and I use it when I'm at work.

That why I never have my battery, while I have my PC plug in to the outlet.
