I Have An Gateway Laptop Which I Purchased Back In 2006. My Hard Drive Needs To Be Replaced. I'm Looking To Replace Drive And Do Not Want To Spend Too Much Money. Is It Possible The Buy Something In The Price Range Of $50?...

    Thanks!

You can check out the NBR Marketplace and see if there are any drives for sale. Depending on size I know newegg.com and tigerdirect.com have sales running all the time on different things. They usually have the best prices for new hard drives. I'd be surprised if you couldn't find anything in your price range granted you might be sacrificing the amount of space it has.
