I saw that we are supposed to get 5.9 of hard drive score for vista exp index but how come my p7805 only got a 5.7?

I did hdtune test and found no errors.

    Mine came with...
    5.2
    5.9
    5.9
    5.9
    5.8

Not really sure why it would differ

Do you really care what the worst benchmark in the history of benchmarks says about your hard drive.

If you want just edit the WEI index to give yourself a 9.9 in everything. ;)

As I mentioned in another post,

a lot of us got 5.7's on the HD WEI.

Could be a slight difference between drives. We might be getting a 5.74, rounded down, and someone else gets a 5.75 which is rounded up.

Dunno, but I agree, the difference is very minor.

That's correct, you get a score of 5.9 from having a raid0 setup. It will probably be slightly less if you do not have raid0, but in reality, will probably be more than fast enough for your needs.

I get a 5.2 CPU and 5.9 everything else. Just using stock HD and setup. Guess I got lucky and got a decent one.

My HDD used to be 5.8, but the constant 50 degrees Celsius temps must be wearing it down because it is now 5.7.
