I'm looking for a HARD case for my 17" FX 7811. Any suggestions? Needs to carry the laptop, power brick and a small wireless mouse.

I used to have a Vaultz aluminum case that i got for like 54 dollars from Office Depot.

I've got my eyes on the Samsonite aluminum case now (sold the Vaultz with a previous computer

I am looking for a case for my 7811fx as well but I am looking for something along the lines of a Speck case www.speckproducts.com. Does anyone have any suggestions on a case like this? I haven't been able to find anything like this and the whole battery sticking out the back seems like it might be a slight hindrance.

Anything else that fits directly over the laptop casing would work as well. I am looking for something to primarily prevent scratches when moving the laptop around.

I have a Pelican 1495CC1 case for my 172X Fx it was rather expensive but I was glad I got it. I had my laptop shipped to me in Iraq in that case and when I got the box it looked like it had been run over by a truck 4-5 times, but the case and computer were fine. So if you want an indestructible hard case this is it.

Neither targus case will fit as they are: 16.87" x 1.87" x 11.37"

    7811FX is like 2"x16"x12"

I had a vanguard case that "supposedly" fit this laptop. Unfortunately, the battery sticking out the back posed a bit of a problem.
