I'm overseas right now but my GF arrived today with my "new" 6860 FX laptop which she had been testing out for me during the past couple of months and it was working perfectly.

Today, however, the laptop display seems to crap out after 20 mins or so - a hard reboot brings back the display

It's like it just fails to shows the screen image - there is still illumination but no colour - it's just like a blank screen you get an instant where the main screen disappears but you can still see the cursor...then it goes blank.

No way to get the display image back other than press the power button for 4 seconds.

    Any ideas guys - I hope I didn't just get a lemon :(
