A while back I was getting up from my chair and tripped on my headphone cable, which was plugged into the computer. The audio jack on my laptop is now "wiggly," and seems like it's slightly at an angle. When I wiggle the "wiggly" jack, the sound stops playing in one of the headphone ears.

So, thankfully, the audio jack is not completely broken. But I'm afraid that over time, as I'm constantly plugging/unplugging headphones, the jack will break completely. What are my options? Do I send it to Gateway for repair?

I really appreciate any advice you might have :) Thank you!

Is there a warranty still in effect? If so I would most definitely send it back to gateway.
