I just spent the afternoon searching these forums. I remember there was a thread or two about putting windows xp 32 on these laptops (i have both the 6860 and 6831). But I cant find them at this point and im getting very brain burnt.

Can anyone direct to where or how I can find the xp 32 drivers for these laptops ?

    TY for any help !

Did you try the Gateway site and entering in your serial number to get the right support drivers? They do have a support side that if you type in your serial number it will point you to the right drivers for the O/S your wanting to use. That is where you should first look for your drivers from the manufacture site. That's how I found my drivers but they were Windows7x64 drivers for my M-6862 and P-6860FX gateway.

If you still not able to find it I did a simple search and found the link....enter in your serial number and it should tell you the info and drivers for you laptop.
