I am trying to share folders on both my desktop and notebook however I am having trouble accessing the other computer via network.

Both computers have the same Workgroup name so that can't be the issue as well both my computers are hookup to my network.

When I open up the network icon I can see both computers however when I try and open up one of them I get this error "error code 0X80070035 The network path was not found."

    Notebook (Vista Ult. 64bit)
    Type: Notebook
    Workgroup: SKYWALKER
    Network & Sharing
    Network Discovery: *On*
    File Sharing: *On*
    Public Folder Sharing: -Off-
    Printer Sharing: -Off-
    Password Protected Sharing: *On*
    Media Sharing: *On*

    Desktop (Vista Ult. 32bit)
    Type: Desktop
    Workgroup: SKYWALKER
    Network & Sharing
    Network Discovery: *On*
    File Sharing: *On*
    Public Folder Sharing: -Off-
    Printer Sharing: -Off-
    Password Protected Sharing: *On*
    Media Sharing: *On*

Any help would be awesome, thanks!!

Have you tried with password protected sharing off? Different workgroup?

Okay I figured it out, it was my flipping anti-virus software.

Now I can open the other computers file, but can't access the content I am getting this error code accesss denied code.... 0X80070005. It says "My Videos" is available but the user account that you are logged on with was denied access." How do I change that?
however I can open the public files. UGH!!!
