I have a gateway laptop, but i dont know what kind it is exactly. Anyways my laptop keeps resetting after a blue screen with white letters come out. and i already disabled the automatic restart through the advance tab. The blue message says.

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

    UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME
If thie is the first time youve seen this stop error screen restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check to make sure any new hard ware or soft ware is properly installed, ask your hard ware or soft ware manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.

If problems continue disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software, Disable BIOS memory options such as catching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components restart your computer. Press F8 to select advacnce setup options then select safe mode.

... Ok? so im confused can any one help me im only 13 years old can some one narrow this down for me T_T this only happened after i tried to throw away a icon on the desk top to the recycle bin. But i cant run any virus programs or such because i cant get passed that message it restarts or the message just stays there.

you know, kid, that is kinda broad. Try pressing F8 and boot it up to safe mode, then the registry back up thingy should show up, try to go back one day-days before it started to happen
