Hello all, I need alittle help I just purchased a LG Philips LP171WU1-TLA3 with an inverter. I was wondering do I use the Inverter that is attached to the new LCD or the one that came with the 6860fx? Thanks in advance Robert.

nope you actually have to remove that inverter from the bottom and the bracket on the top it can be a bit tricky and take sometime so be careful cause youll bend the frame of the lcd and cause other problems. i used a dremel with a grinder on the end and ground down the rivet things then gently and i do mean gently pry them off . just take your time.
