    Help, mx6446 won't post!

    Out of no where my mx6446 stop booting up, and it won't even post.
    When I turn it on, the lights all come on, like its about to post, and it
    doesn't, it turns off and on, and repeats this cycle...on and off.
    Any ideas? or is my motherboard toast?

    remove battery remove ram try booting
    beeping ?

    install one ram stick try booting
    try other ram stick, try both

    hopefully by now you are good.

    if not try locating the cmos battery which usually means taking the whole laptop apart.
