I have an Gateway MT3422 and to make a long story short, I downloaded their newest BIOS file from Gateway's support site which has BIOS 79.10 - unfortunately, unless you read the fine print - this BIOS is NOT for the MT3422.

if someone has an MT3422 and can extract the BIOS (I believe it's version 79.13 or newer!) I would be EXTREMELY grateful!

Basically my laptop boots, but will not run an OS longer than 3 minutes... I believe I can boot-flash this laptop as I can get into the BIOS and it will boot from a flash drive. I wish I had backed up my original BIOS now...

    can anyone help?
