For some reason, whenever I unplug my laptop (in sig) and try to run WoW, I can't get my FPS rate to go an higher than 20, and it runs like crap. The second I plug the AC adapter, the FPS jump back to normal (60). Yes, my battery profile is on High Performance. Only WoW runs like this, any other game runs fine off battery.

Anyone else notice this? Is there a fix?

edit: I think I found the answer from another thread. Search before posting! ;)

check your advanced power settings for when running on battery with high performance. and look into the PowerMizer thing, involved changing some registry stuff but you can find about that by searching for it.

EDIT: here is the PowerMizer thread
