Want to take my Gateway 7320 laptop apart so I can determine if there's any chance of fixing the power socket. Took all the screws out from the bottom but that seems to be as far as I can go. Is there a service manuel or website some where that illustrates how to disassemble this thing?

Thanks for the info. I have the original user's guide. I'm trying to figure out how to take this thing apart. How to open it up enough to get to the mother board.

Hm... well if you can't get to what you need to through the bottom, you usually need to go through the keyboard...
I've never had to do this, because both of mine have access to everything from the bottom, but I know that some models you need to take out the keyboard and/or the screen.
