There's a good deal on this laptop but i really don't know anything about it since there's no information on it anywhere. Any one here have it? is it a good laptop?

If i do get this laptop I'll definitely be upgrading it to 3-4gb ram since its in my budget but can anyone tell me if this particular laptop comes with 2x512mb sticks or 1x1gb stick? And how is the battery life on this?

never heard of the model but they never give you 1 stick of ram unless thats all it can handle, therefore if it has 2 slots(most do) then its 2x512

yeah no wonder I can't find anything about it. How well does battery life for a gateway usually last as compared to dells? if you can even make that kind of comparison.

that type of comparison is tough... judging by a quick glance at the specs I'd say 3 hours should be pretty easily attained.
