I ordered an NX860XL on friday the 7th, and the delivery date given to me was the 18th, this coming tuesday. However, I keep checking the order status on the gateway website and it says that my order is still "processing" rather than in production or shipped. They called last monday to verify that the shipping address and billing address were different, and I've left a message for the sales guy who I bought it through to see what is up, but I haven't heard anything. Does anyone have any experience with their online order status thing? Is there a chance my computer has actually already been built and even shipped without them updating that?

I dont think so. I think the problem is that they update the status online too slowly

Well, looks like they answered my question indirectly. Rather than callling me back or responding to my email, they just changed the estimated delivery date from the 18th to the 26th. Guess I should call and see if I can figure out what is up/get some money knocked off the thing...

Bummer, I got my laptop in about a week after I purchased it. Then again it was a refurb so it was already assembled and ready to go since I didn't customize it per say.

My order came within a week from China. I didn't see any movement until about three days before it was at my door steps.

Yea, I got it last monday, making it about a week later than expected but I love it, so I suppose it was worth the wait
