So I've got a Gateway P6831FX, but since I'm going to be going back to school, I'm going to just get a smaller notebook, so I'm going to sell this one. I've done some upgrades on it, since I've had it, and I've only had it for a month or so. It's got a 2.4GHz Core2Duo, and it's got a Blu-Ray Drive installed. I was planning on selling it with the 10 Blu-Ray movies I have for it, and also a MoGo Mouse. I dunno how much I could really sell it for, and would just like an opinion? Thanks!

Well the new 6860 Replacement is coming out soon, so people will be a little wary to buy it until we've seen some reviews for that.
How much do you want? -
The 6831FX should net you $800 or so, coupled with the C2D, I'd go up to 1K, 1.1 at most. Add another 2-300 for the Blu-Ray, I would imagine. You're probably going to get that much or lower price selling it here. Discs probably another 100 -200?
Selling it on Ebay or craigslist should get you a much better price, easpecially with the BD drive. -
As someone looking to buy either the 6831, 6860, or new refresh of this line, the most I would pay is 900.
But that's just me. -
Interesting choice of Blu-ray by the way, especially since the default resolution doesn't support 1080.
You mean 900 for his config or for default, Elementrat? -
-
I would pay 900 for his config. Blu Ray really isn't of importance to me.

I actually just got a new laptop. It's the Dell M1330, so it's a lot smaller, which I kind of wanted. But thanks for the suggestions guys! Really helped me out!

I think u'd have to wait it out to get a good price. For a buyer that would appreciate what u put in and he would want "that" setup. I'm in market for 6868/6831 but I would pass on your laptop because I don't wanna pay extra for what I don't need.
I'm thinkin $1100 would b right price -
Well see I still have the original Drive for it, so I mean I could just put that back in and sell it!
How much do you think I could sell it for?
