    The cap popped off today and just trying to push it back on does not work.

    I've had these pop and it took a bit of force to get them to click back in. Now those you could tell would click back in as when just sitting there they did not fall down in line with the other keys. Meaning you could see they were elevated and needed to click back in. So the question is does the key at rest sit elevated from the other keys? Or does it fall down in line like the clipping mechanism is not there or broken?

    If the mechanism is broken you options are glue it in, find a new clip to buy or a new keyboard.

    I think this will work;

    This is the listed keyboard;

    Not quite level, but darn close. Just a hair higher then the surrounding keys.

    That is what mine did, just a hair higher. Judicial force restored the key into its position.

    Thanks to both of you. I finally got it reset last night. I had to manually insert the two little white tabs of the plastic retainer into the cap on the left side, then I pressed hard and jiggled it for a couple of minutes (over several days) and it finally pushed into the two remaining tabs and all is good now. But what a hassle as it didn't want to reset easily. There must be a tool for this as I can't imagine the manufacturer doing this by hand for all the keys.

    Yeah, as I said judicial force is required. I jiggled it till I felt the caps all fall into place, you actually can feel the slight give. Over time having done quite a few of these helps. Glad to hear it is all settled now for you.
