    I bought a refurbished gateway and I need the correct video driver

    Gateway MD7818U Refurbished Notebook PC – Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 2GHz, 4GB DDR2, 500GB, DVDRW, 15.6” WXGA, Vista Home Premium 64-bit

    I did a serial number search and I found video drivers VGA_Intel_UMA_v.7.15.10.1527_Vista_all.zip, but I don't know what series my laptop is: it's either [Part #MD72]
    Gateway MD73 Series Notebook [Part #MD73]
    Gateway MD78 Series Notebook [Part #MD78]

    I hope it's not MD72 because they don't carry the driver. How can I check the series? Thanks in advance.

    I don't think you have to worry much because most manufacturers have one driver package that suppprts all series, as long as they have the same video card class. I believe your laptop is an MD78 series since it starts with MD78xxxx.

    Here is what I found for MD7818U (I think it's the same one you found)--Instead of putting in the serial number in the "My downloads" tab, I used the "Browse all downloads" tab:
