I have a Gateway P-6860FX Notebook and i can't connect to the internet on it. It worked fine for about a week and just stopped working a day ago. The computer I'm using now is hooked up to the same router so I know that its not my modem that is the problem. When i run a Network Diagnostics test it says that i dont have a network adapter installed and configured. I don't know how to fix it. Please help me!

This may sound silly, but are you sure you have the switch turned on? I hit mine all the time when picking the laptop up.

try unplugging your router if u have one for maybe 20 sec then plug it back on.if it still doesnt connect. try right-clicking on your "connection" icon in your tray and select repair/diagnose. theres gonna be 2 choices on there and im sure 1 will solve it. just happened to me this morning.

    yea reboot router
make sure wireless switch is on, then try pressing fn+f2 (does same like switch) see if it enables the wifi.

still cant connect make sure you have the same security scheme on both sides.
