    :D
I finally did it !! I followed undervolting procedure and dropped it to 10.0X @ 1.0500v.. My stock temperature was
    ACPI 69c - 69c Core #0 63c Core #1 60c and GPU 42c after 12mins of Orthos running..
After UV to [email protected] [email protected] 1.000v @8.0x [email protected]
    my temperature dropped to
    ACPI 59c - 59c Core#0 53c Core #1 52c and GPU 42c after 12mins and 45mins of orthos running. I dropped about 10c overall :D
However, that's only part of this good news !!
    Soon after that, I ran 3Dmark 06 & 03..
    I got 10346 pts on 3Dmark 06 with OC to 700-950-1800 with Temp. of 52-52 / 50-45 / 66c and 34686 pts on 3Dmark 03 with same OC and temp. of 52-52 / 50-45 / 67c
And best of all I did not get 98c error !!

I just want to say Thank you everyone for your help and without this forum, this would never happened :)

    Update..
    UV is amazing !! :D
I put my hand on the vent and fan blows cool air..used to be very hot air..
BTW, I got 98c back again when I OC my GPU to 753-1009-1800 and ran 3Dmark06.. but, I got highest score ever 10529 and amazing thing is that even with 98c error I did not get any hiccups or framedrop during benchmarking for hours ..!! :D
Even though I got 98c back .. UV solved all my problems !! I'm very satisfied..
Computer runs cooler even with some crazy OC to GPU !!

Interesting, so you were having Tzs0 issue with the T9600?

Also 3Dmark06 is really not that stressing on modern machines, Vantage and some modern games work a lot better. My last notebook had some issues with power and heat that could not be recreated with 3Dmark06, but happened after just a few minutes playing COD4.

Yes.. I had ACPI TZS0 98c error and whenever that happens, dropped frames instantly.. also, I couldn't Overclock my GPU more than 10% ..
But with Undervolting, everything is good !! :D
Took me a day to finish it but well worth it..
I will try FAR CRY 2 benchmark later.. see how that will turn out..
    :)

TZS0's temp can't affect performance if RMClock is running. It interupts windows attempt to downclock the system. You can push those clocks further, and TZS0 will never bother your performance again. Just keep RMClock running. ;)

Nice work man. I've got the same problem, but with a P8400. It'll be rough when I upgrade.

And I didn't know that RMClock blocked the downclock. That's pretty cool. Maybe I'll turn it on again and push my clocks even higher to make up for missing 100mhz.

Why don't you upgrade your cpu to T9800 ?
and for the UV using RMClock .. it's the best thing you can ever do for your FX. My CPU score went down about 200 points in 3dmark06 but I can OC it to the max without downclocking or frame drop..
I used to turn off powermizer but that didn't help with 98c..
    UnderVolting works..
    :)

    Because I don't have $500 :p
I'm messing around with the undervolt now, running the FC2 benchmark.

It shouldn't be that stressful, but for some reason it triggers TZS0 easier than anything else.

That's great but it's still too much. If it were 200, then I could get it. Maybe prices will drop when the mobile i7s hit. Right now, I'm fine with the P8400. Although I have to push the gpu pretty hard while running RCClock to regain what I lose. I'll play FC2 for a while and see if I run into problems with 700/1000/1820.

    THAT IS SICK!
i work in a computer store, our regular distributors list this cpu $600++

another question, any of you guys seen a working cpu overclocking proggy for this badboy? p-7811fx?
i tried to get the setfsb guy to enable support, but he was like, 'ur a n00b'.
and i tried every single clock generator just in hopes to see if one might have worked. nope.

one thing about rmclock, all you have to do is disable 'C2E' in the processor features, and voila! no more downclock.

My hopes were just subsequently raised and then crushed. I unchecked the C2E box, and there was no downclock. I was so happy, but then I realized that I forgot to turn on power management. When I turned that back on, the downclock came back :(

Is there anything else I might have to do? Like disable DFFS or not select the mobile CPU type?

I did UV on both Vista and Xp..
    Results..was quite interesting..
UV to same setting on both, XP ran cooler than vista on every test I did.
Average of 2-4c cooler on acpi and cpu with XP..
Also, with XP and UV together I got over 11k on 3DMark06 !!
    Not with vista..
