The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    The above is my Gateway FX laptop running a X9000 proc. not sure what the issue is as stated in link above though looking for some insight. I may end up re-installing the oem proc. that came in it just to eliminate the X as being the culprit...anyone experience the same issues or aware that they are?? Could be about anything though the usual suspect being a driver/s and or hardware issue...thinking I can't be the only one with the issue. Vista 32bit clean install..
