I could yesterday, now it says "The changes made were invalid an will not be applied".

    :(

Would installing 3dm-vantage do this? That's the only thing different.

Have you recently suffered a driver crash/recovery?

If you've pushed your GPU too far it will sometimes go hinky, so you're going to have to uninstall your driver and reinstall it to do a sort of "soft reset". Other than that i'm not sure... you werent trying to get some 1500/1600/2500 overclock were you :p

I've had no crashes and restarting didn't fix it and the OC was to 9600GT stock 650/1625/899.

I did have a graphical glitch playing Bioshock, a black square blinked on and off as I rode the elevator up near the beginning after you get in to Rapture [not the trip to it], it didn't happen before or after.

...would that be enough to cause this?

Have to connect to AC first before OCing.

yeah plugging in t an outlet can make all the difference at most times when gaming hard core i thing the gpu and cpu downclock themselves while on battery if im not mistaken kinda messes up the overclock settings......

I hope you mean CPU undervolt, not CPU downclock ;p
